Lady from Ahmedabad, aiming to start-up her own export house
Mother of 2 kids, Pooja was determined to follow her passion for design and fashion which inspired her to start her designer boutique, “Myra; The Boutique” in Ahmedabad around 13 years back. Since then she has extensively worked upon designing Indian dresses like Salwar-Kameez, Anarkali, Lehenga and various other ethnic wear. Her designs were appreciated not only by her customers but also a lot of other people and she started receiving new orders everyday . Ms. Pooja designs most of clothes herself and if need be, she also offers customisation services.
With just 300sq/feet area on rent, she started her first setup of the boutique. Hiring 1 tailor and 1 machine she started putting up her design in trance.
“I always wanted to produce something unique ”- said Pooja
After putting in a lot of hard work, she established herself in the into market and soon she got to set up her own manufacturing unit. After buying an area of 3000sq/feet, now, she owns a workshop with 50workers + machines.
Now, she is a retailer and gets bulk orders from buyers abroad. The response that she is receiving from customers worldwide is beyond great. Her designs are being appreciated in every part of the world today!
